A few weeks ago, I had an interview about the Silver Night’s Crusaders project with Castlevania Latino. They are a Spanish-speaking fan community that loves the Castlevania series, the game that inspired or rather, the game that Silver Night’s Crusaders pays tribute to.
Brief Interview Summary
The interview lasted about half an hour and was a great opportunity to showcase the project.
We talked about the reasons behind creating this game, as well as the meaning and origin of the name Silver Night’s Crusaders.
Also “solved” the mystery behind the music of the game and why it sounds so similar to the style of composer Michiru Yamane xd.
And discussed the strong similarities between some Silver Night’s Crusaders characters and those from the original Castlevania series, such as Francis Bloodrose’s design, which resembles a teenage version of Alucard.
Finally, we talked about the possibility of playing the project on mobile devices using an OpenBOR emulator for Android.
I also answered some questions from viewers in the live chat and shared a few development updates though not too many, to avoid spoilers since the game is relatively short.
