Guidelines for Fan Works

Before You Start

First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to create something inspired by our games!

Every drawing, illustration, song, video, cosplay, story, mod, or fan project created by the community means a great deal to us. Seeing someone dedicate their free time to expanding the worlds of our games is probably one of the greatest compliments a developer can receive.

If you’d like your work to be featured in the True Role Dreams Fan Works Gallery, here are a few simple guidelines.

Rules for Being Featured in the Gallery

We welcome almost any creative work inspired by our games, including:

  • Traditional or digital fan art
  • Pixel art
  • 3D models
  • Animations
  • Cosplays
  • Original music, remixes, or arrangements
  • Videos
  • Stories or fan fiction
  • Mods
  • Fan games
  • Any other creative project made with passion for our games

We also accept works created with Artificial Intelligence tools, provided that the author has made a meaningful creative contribution, the work fits the creative universe, and the final result meets the quality standards of our gallery.

Every submission is reviewed before publication. Our goal isn’t to judge artistic skill, but to maintain a gallery that the entire community can enjoy.

What We Do Not Accept

We reserve the right not to publish works that:

  • Are unrelated to True Role Dreams games.
  • Contain offensive, discriminatory, illegal, or explicit sexual content.
  • Clearly infringe upon third-party copyrights.
  • Are spam or unrelated advertising.
  • Art of such poor quality that the creative work cannot be appreciated.
  • Consist solely of automatically generated AI images without any meaningful creative input from the author.

Our goal is to maintain a gallery filled with works created with enthusiasm, passion, and creativity.

Mods for Our Games

We’re always happy to see people creating new adventures inspired by our games.

You’re welcome to develop:

  • Mods
  • Fan games
  • Translations
  • Patches
  • Alternate stories
  • New characters
  • New levels
  • Expansions

We only ask that you follow a few simple rules:

  • Clearly indicate that your project is fan-made and not officially affiliated with True Role Dreams.
  • Credit the original game whenever appropriate.
  • Respect the work and rights of other creators.
  • Do not sell or commercially distribute your project.
  • Any original characters, settings, or assets you create will remain entirely yours.

We love projects that expand our universes with new ideas and stories. Community creativity will always be welcome.

We Will Always Credit the Original Authors

We believe recognizing creative work is just as important as the work itself.

Whenever possible, every featured publication will include:

  • The author’s name or nickname.
  • A link to their website (if available).
  • Links to their social media or portfolio.
  • A link to the original publication where the work first appeared (when available).
  • A short description of both the artwork and its creator.

Our goal is not only to showcase fan works, but also to help other players discover the talented artists and creators who are part of the True Role Dreams community.

If one of our games inspired you to create something, then we feel every hour spent developing it was worth it.

Thank you for being part of the True Role Dreams community.
