After thinking about it for a long time, I finally decided to redesign Neon Lightning Force. Honestly, its current game design was far below the way I develop games nowadays, which is why I decided to return to this project originally released in 2016. In this post, I share some progress, talk about the new features coming to the game from now on, and also discuss an approximate release window (at least for a demo so you can start trying it out).

Today is a great day because I’ve completed my second project :D. On October 31, 2020 a date that will go down in internet history xd. Silver Night’s Crusaders is finally here. This is a game that fans of Castlevania will enjoy. In this post, I go over everything included in the full version, along with screenshots and a trailer showcasing both the story and gameplay. And now we begin with the second project from True Role Dreams. This game is inspired by Castlevania and already has a name: Silver Night’s Crusaders. This fan game aims to pay tribute to the series while building its own identity. In this post, I share early progress, characters, and the curious origin of the title, along with the first images and gameplay footage. If you enjoy retro aesthetics, vampires, and arcade-style action, this will give you a glimpse of where the project is heading.

The English version of Neon Lightning Force is now available after some time spent on translation and review. Everything from dialogue to menus has been translated, always aiming to stay consistent with the original version. After several attempts and canceled projects, I finally released my first project as True Role Dreams: Neon Lightning Force. The new beat ’em up from True Role Dreams now has a name: Neon Lightning Force. And not only that, there’s already a demo available, featuring the first levels of the game along with a new playable character. And this is where I started working on the first True Role Dreams project: a beat ’em up in OpenBOR (an engine I recently discovered and really enjoyed). Here I share the early ideas, main characters, and some visual progress while I was still defining the direction of the project xd. Special thanks to The Spriters Resource, Sprite Database, and Video Game Maps for being such a great library of free resources for everyone :D.
