Second Interview with Castlevania Latino

Once again, I had an interview with Castlevania Latino, this time to talk about the full version of Silver Night’s Crusaders, released on October 31, 2020.

I previously had an interview with them in early 2019 here’s the link to that earlier interview.

Brief Interview Summary

The interview lasted almost an hour, and we didn’t just talk about Silver Night’s Crusaders, but also covered a variety of current topics.

We had some technical issues on YouTube while trying to stream the interview live, so it had to be recorded privately instead.

We talked about the funny comparison fans make between Silver Night’s Crusaders and Dark Souls due to its difficulty.

Its fast-paced action is influenced not only by Castlevania, but also by Devil May Cry, another franchise I really enjoy.

I also mentioned some design mistakes I made during development.

Another recurring topic was controls, as many players reported a bug when connecting a PC controller, it defaults to player two instead of player one.

This bug will be fixed in the next version I release.

I also want to mention that I’ve created a FAQ section where I explain this and other issues in detail.

Full Interview by Castlevania Latino

Unlike the previous post, this time I’m embedding the full interview directly from the Castlevania Latino channel so you can watch it (It’s in spanish sorry xP) :

If you prefer to just listen, the interview is also available in audio format on the iVoox channel of True Role Dreams:

To wrap things up, I’d like to thank Castlevania Latino once again for the interview. If you’re interested in the Castlevania series, be sure to check out their channel and subscribe:
