Yes, Neon Lightning Force is the title of the new beat ’em up I’ve been working on. And today I’m not just sharing that, I’m also bringing you the game’s demo.
I really like the name, and the game even has a logo now:

For new readers who aren’t familiar with the project yet, here’s a link to the previous post.

About the Neon Lightning Force Demo
This demo includes stages 1 to 3. The game itself is fairly short (the full version might take about an hour and a half to complete all 6 stages in one run).
A third character has finally been added: Dr. Negishi, a human turned into a Bioroid (a type of mutant), who serves as the heavy fighter of the trio.

The demo can also be downloaded from the official website. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- The demo includes a Bonus Stage where you destroy a car, inspired by classic games like Street Fighter and Final Fight.
- Some parts are very quiet, and a few sound effects are still missing in the intro this will be fixed in the final version.
- Weapons were not included in the demo yet, as they are still in development and currently cause minor bugs.
- This will be the only demo release. I won’t publish another playable version until the final release, which is expected around mid next year.
- The game will be translated into English once the full version is released in its native language, Spanish.
When will Neon Lightning Force be released?
I don’t have an exact date yet, but I’m aiming for mid-2016. Progress updates will be shared on social media, mainly YouTube (and archived on Odysee).
If you want more information about my projects, you can always follow the development blog.
Update (2026): The game is now fully released in its latest version. You can download it from the official website here.
