Monster killer (Vocal Arrange) by Luminous Music Channel

- for Silver Night's Crusaders
This vocal arrangement was inspired by the music from the first level of Silver Night’s Crusaders, where the protagonists save a village plagued by monsters (hence the name). I originally titled the track “Monster Killer” without imagining that the game would become so well received. Looking back, I probably should have renamed it “The Crusaders”, since it sounds very much like the main theme of Silver Night’s Crusaders.
After listening to the song’s lyrics (I had to use a translator because I don’t know Japanese xd), it seems to express Sheeba’s melancholy as she misses Evaine. That’s a feeling I also wanted to convey with the song I chose for the Silver Night’s Crusaders trailer (“Star” by Eyes of Eden). However, this arrangement, performed by Ai, sounds so good that it could easily serve as the game’s main theme.
Many thanks to Luminous Music Channel for this fantastic vocal arrangement.
The Origin of "Monster Killer" music
The original name of this track is “Feel’s Theme”, and it comes from the soundtrack of Oz: The Sword of Etheria, an action game released by Konami for the PlayStation 2 in 2005.
It’s a fairly obscure action game in which Michiru Yamane contributed to the soundtrack. She is also widely known for composing music for the Castlevania series, which explains the distinctive gothic rock style present in the track.
That atmosphere was exactly what convinced me to include it in Silver Night’s Crusaders xd.
